Woman Teaching Child to Swim
Classes are available for Levels Parent & Child, 1,2, and 3.
Parent & Child
Description - Introduces child to water. Creates comfort with parent in water.
Prerequisite - age 0 – 3 Parent must participate in the water.

Level 1
Description - Introduces fundamentals with assistance from instructor and equipment.
Prerequisite - age 3 – 5 and feel comfortable in water without parent

Level 2
Description - Introduces independent swimming with the use of floatation. Child will practice basic swim skills on their front and back
Prerequisite - age 5 and swim without instructor assistance

Level 3
Description - Introduces rotary breathing, front crawl, and back crawl. Children will learn and practice these strokes with and without assistance of equipment.
Prerequisite - Age 5 and up and swim short distances without any assistance and are comfortable putting head under water.

  • You must purchase Recreation Pass before registering for any program.
