Program time is from **8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Children must be entering the first grade in order to attend this program.
  • Drop off and pick up is at Dawson Elementary School located at 155 Salisbury St.
  • Children will spend most afternoons at the pool, weather permitting, On rainy days, the program will remain at the school.
  • The All Day Program is licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care. EEC Requires each child to have enrollment forms. No child can attend without them. Please see website for forms.
Activities Include: Arts & crafts, games, “special” weeks, outdoor activities, swimming lessons during weeks when classes are in session, and open swim time at the Holden Pool.
Children need to bring: non-refrigerated lunch and water bottle, towel, sunscreen, and bathing suit. Children are encouraged to bring a healthy snack for the afternoon, or they may purchase refreshments from the “snack shack” at the pool.
  • ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE REQUESTED BY EMAIL TO HOLDENREC@HOLDENMA.GOV PRIOR TO May 22nd
  • ANY CANCELLATIONS AFTER May 22nd WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FULL PAYMENT OF CANCELLED WEEK
  • YOU WILL NOT AUTOMATICALLY BE ADDED TO THE WAIT LIST IF THE PROGRAM IS FULL, YOU MUST MANUALLY REGISTER FOR THE WAIT LIST
  • Early Drop off Registration will open at 10am after general program registration

General Information
  • Program time is from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00p.m.
  • Children need to bring a lunch, but a morning snack and drink will be provided.
  • Children are encouraged to bring a healthy snack for the afternoon, or they may purchase refreshments from the “snack shack” at the pool.
  • Children may spend most afternoons at the pool, weather permitting.
  • On rainy days, the program will remain at the school.
  • You must purchase Recreation Pass before registering for any program.
  • Earlier drop–off will open at 10am after general registration. Early drop off time would be at 7:30am - 8:00am. The additional fee is $18.00 per week, per child.

Fee Information
  • Each reserved week requires a $25.00/week/child non-refundable deposit.
  • Registration for the All Day Program requires the first reserved week to be paid in full.
  • Any cancellations to your original registration must be made on or before June 1 by email to holdenrec@holdenma.gov.
  • If you email holdenrec@holdenma.gov after June 1 to cancel a reserved week, you will be held responsible for the full amount of your unwanted week(s)..
  • Sibling Discounts will be taken off at checkout.
  • A $25 registration Fee will be charged to your account after registration. This is different from the weekly $25 deposit that is required at checkout.

Required Forms
Listed below are the forms required for your child(ren) to participate in the All Day Summer Program. If your child(ren) was ever enrolled in the Before/ After/ or All Day Summer Program Program, please call the office for more information.
If your child has never participated in the Before/After or Summer All Day, print forms, complete them and bring them to the Recreation office before Friday, May 10.
YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LEAVE YOUR CHILD AT THE PROGRAM WITHOUT THESE COMPLETED AND SIGNED FORMS.
